We’ll have to wait and see I suppose but I think it’s it’s safe to assume that if it is being released today in 2k that’s the best they can manage. Arrow, for example, have a mix in their releases and some are only available in 2k - 8f they could release that film as 4k then ai can’t see a reason they wouldn’t as it’d annoy existing customers otherwise.
There are exceptions to that, the slow pace of Kurosawa 4k releases is down to the studio (Toho?) taking their sweet time, so a 2k is a stop-gap measure until they get around to it. With, for example, Shaw Brothers, if Arrow could make the Shawscope sets 4k, they would unless there are issues with the studio I haven’t heard about.
