This would be a dream come true, I’ll even patreon or whatever
It’s been officially announced as in development! And he does have a patreon btw.
Let that sync in
Wait is there really a sync for Lemmy? The same setup and everything would be amazing. Jerboa is kinda similar but still jank.
The dev said there will be a MVP in 3-6 weeks https://old.reddit.com/r/SyncforLemmy/comments/14ee1ul/sync_for_lemmy_is_happening/
The dev is the real MVP
Source?
Does Dawson have any lemmy, kbin, mastodon connections we can link to?
I want to connect with his account without reddit and give through patreon or any fundraising he is doing … I dumped reddit but I had been using sync for years and I paid for the lifetime subscription just before going off … after what he did for us for years, I’m more than willing to give funding to him for his work
The link in his comment where the Sync Dev says he will have a useable product in 3-6 weeks?
I would gladly pay for Boost again if they made it work with lemmy.
We found our champion!
You love to see it!
Sync pro is the app I used the last few years and it was pretty amazing.
I’m going to buy the pro version immediately when it gets out!
Are they interested in opening their own instance or will it just be a client? I mean, they could…
if it’s anything like sync for reddit was (and I imagine it will be!), it’ll be a client only
Do you think it would be a good idea, though? It could be an easy entry point for old syncforreddit users to the fediverse
I hope to got there will be a lemmy is fun
I approve this meme
Lemmy is Fun when?
LIF, LAF LOF?
Now this is an original content we’re here for. I salute you OP, well done, sir.
IMO this is the move all client reddit apps should do, I know this is not an easy transition and probably not worth the time of all the devs, but that would be a great hit for reddit whether they like to admit it or not.
Unfortunately, my favorite app “infinity” goes to a subscription model, like reddit premium. The Dev said he doesn’t want to build a Lemmy app because he doesn’t use Lemmy.
