They praise FF while easily dismissing major bugs that force users to switch to other browsers using their anecdotal evidence. Yes, FF PC is nice and solid but I mostly browse on my phone nowadays.

Nope still the same. The issue is very common. 8gb, sd855+, no optimization for firefox mobile and still reloads everytime I switch apps.
Firefox is so shit on mobile that it reloads every time I switch to other apps. I once tried to fill up a very long form, and when I tried to look up some information on my notepad app, I switched back to ff it reloaded and all my progress was erased.
It’s a bug that has existed for years, and they never bother to fix it.

So I switched to chrome + adblocking DNS on my phone and pc and I never looked back.
edit: Lemmy is becoming circlejerky like Reddit who would have thought. Facts downvoted have you guys even visited the link above it’s a widespread issue. My phone is 8gb sd855+ with battery optimization disabled for FF mobile app. This is why I rarely engage.
It has been resolved can search “Newpipe” and I get real site at #1 result.
Hateful Eight. The acting, pacing, dialogue all 10/10 IMO. It just feels cozy watching it.
DMDE. I know they have free and paid version. Even with the free version I was able to recover 500gb of data 100% with all the folder structure intact. With the free version you will have to manually select each directories but it was worth the effort.
Also Mega. I have multiple legacy accounts that has permanent 50gb space.
Sometimes when I need an answer I use wayback machine to read reddit. Don’t want to give reddit my engagement and have their cookies in my browser.
It doesn’t matter when you got a fast-charge phone.
