For more completion, to those that don’t know or didn’t read the link, the character’s name (should have clarified the one in Austin Powers, to be clear) it was Random Task. I always chuckle at it.

Makes me think of the novel cryptonomicon where the guy had to encrypt and decrypt every message on his finex (may be misremembering that one) laptop.
For those that aren’t familiar it’s from the late 90s so tech is dated but a pretty fun novel that deals with cryptography, by Neal Stephenson, long but enjoyable.
Dunno what OS’s it supports besides Windows but I use Kdiff for random comparisons regularly, I think it works pretty well untill you get to much larger files (20+ MB slows down a lot). The huge file wasn’t code but needed to check output changes for those curious.
I constantly check git comparison with previous versions to see what changed to break things in a build though. Didn’t know there was a way to diff any files in git, should probably just learn to use that one.
Cause as DPS it’s harder to find a group.
You realize it only mentions k-12 in the article and bill right? So while they are schools I can’t find mention of them in this act. Can you please show where it says Universites are included? It does not in the article or the link below.

According to the article, quoted.
Access zones are in place at K-12 schools, and police can arrest or issue tickets to anyone found impeding access, disrupting or interfering with educational activities, or attempting to intimidate an individual within 20 metres (66 feet) of school property,” the province said in a release. Unquoted now…
What part of that is bad? Nothing says people can’t protest but no one should interfere with kid’s education. Doesn’t say people can’t protest, but they can’t disrupt people who go in there is all which seems fair.
Edit: forgot to say I can be a bit dense and not realize things so if I’m missing a glaring fact or angle of this please do inform me.
Tom Hanks in an 80s comedy (came out in 90 close enough) is usually worth it, I only watched it once a number of years ago. It wasn’t overly memorable but I recall enjoying it well enough. There was probably jokes I wasn’t paying attention enough to notice. However when you add Meg Ryan with Hanks you can’t really go wrong.
I’m not sure I’ve heard that one, very similar and awesome. I should read some of him, yes I know very famous just something I haven’t got around to doing.
I do agree but if you wanted to make to case for ‘God’ they could have made sure some of their creatures evolved to understand his work, assuming they did it in a logical way. I’m not a person with faith but just try and think a way is possible, though usually trying to understand weird comic and media universe type actions.
We are the way for a universe to understand itself (paraphrased from Sagan). Though his writing is much more interesting than this comment. I just think there’s room for belief if it works for people, but not for the strict literal interpretations that many seem to believe.
I started that like 10 years ago, unfortunately I have a funky shaped head so it doesn’t look as good as it may on others but I do enjoy the maintenance on it. I can definitely tell these days it won’t grow back like it used to (much thinner on the top, edging back on the top sides). However being able to use a hair trimmer once a week myself is cheap, and less things to do while getting ready in the morning.
I can understand since society seems to put value on hair but not worrying about it (some confidence) goes a long way. I barely think about it nowadays.
How do you find which one you want with 150 open? Genuinely curious is all, I’m old and mostly use PC and can type quick enough to find what I want if I know which site (wikis for games and such). If I had to scroll through 150 tabs I’d spend half the time looking through a list so wonder how it helps to have that many open. Or maybe I just don’t read fast enough to scroll well.
I thought it had to be a joke article from the title. Yeesh wouldn’t want to be the person who gets the fallout from this idea.
Like Hitchhiker’s guide…is it safe? Oh yes it’s safe but not us.
I think it depends on the marketing in the end. Even if it’s expensive, if it’s not known it probably won’t sell as much as you hope. If I’m proved wrong I’d like to know to give it a try of course heh. But I do think many of those brands survive on the rich knowing them to parade around, even if they’re not known by sight due to non displayed logos.
If you want to target the new rich, then it needs to be high profile and flashy I assume.
Yeah between the biker gang and ballad of gay Tony, they had some great dlc for 4. I bought GTA 5 a second time for the PC after awhile but can’t expect a good dlc these days from them unfortunately. Hopefully their main story holds up but I’m not holding my breath given their online cash cow.
Not if the place doesn’t do daylight savings time, and not all places in a timezone will do that (least in North America) so you need extra code if they do or do not. It becomes a pain after awhile when you do it in multiple projects. Technically one extra setting but it’s still a pain to make sure it’s handle properly in all cases, especially when the previous programmer decided to handle it for each case individually, but that’s a different issue.
Also when you deal with the times, say in .Net you gotta make sure it’s the proper kind of date otherwise it decides it’s a local system date and will change it to system local when run. Sure it’s all handled but there are many easy mistakes to make when working with time.
I probably didn’t even get to the real reason, I sort of picked this up on my own.
As a kid I rarely listened to anything, these days I put on Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio show, just go bacl to the start I’ve heard up to the third phase often but not the further ones as much. In the more recent past it may have been a Harry Potter (UK) book or again Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy voiced by Stephen Fry. Guess that’s a lot of UK stuff considering I’m Canadian, but Fry has such a nice voice to drift off to.
Seems like a distinction without a difference, I sort of assumed the OP meant that is all I mean. We don’t know anything before the beginning after all. Like you said.
According to a few Google searches it was a physisict Hugh Everett in the late 50s. I am sure there were others in more meta and philosophical concepts in the past but I get the idea he is the known physicist to come up with it.
Disclaimer I didn’t read a lot but his name came up a few times and I assume he had a theory that could relate to physics at the time.
I still like that Flash was probably the first for pop culture, when weird time travel started happening in other shows (after deep into Flash recent series) I started joking it was just Barry messing up crap between the multiverse and time.
Not saying wrong but that movie came out in '99, so I think a retro of the 90s would be closer to mid to early 90s since there’s that bleed over to the early '00 decade. Of course I’m older so maybe that part would be included, just more considered it 00s era.
Since I didn’t comment otherwise I’ll mention Xtreme sports, frosted hair colours, and some neon bleed over (though not cyberpunk levels) from the 80s for a 90s retro.
