Interesting read. There are countries with low crime rates before this technology came to light, facial recognition doesn’t seem to be the right answer for law enforcement. I wish they’d delve in more on the privacy concerns or scenarios that might outweigh the benefits

I think that today the prevention takes some effort and time to learn. In my personal experience people are mostly oblivious/shrug off the data mining, not thinking about the consequences (“what can they possibly do with this data?”).
I’d argue awareness is a big factor still
Games can help people talk about issues, bridging the communication barrier to some topics. Can’t believe they managed to explain the issue in 2 mins lol.

They seemingly are adding more creators. At least the ones I’ve followed. I recently just started contacting creators to ask if they’ve even heard of it and willing to contact so ppl can support them that way.
Patreon is cool but I don’t want to have a subscription for every creator I like and decide on the amount.
There’s some moral responsibility though. When it comes to privacy though, the majority is too naive
