I have a bit of a soft spot for BL1, it’s very playable to this day and has a lot that seemed to click into place. I definitely think 2’s improved gameplay and endgame went a long way forward, but 1 has a sort of crunchy feel that’s still quite fun.
Actually, this town has more than enough room for the two of us

Finished the base game of GTA IV and the base game of Alan Wake 1. Gonna go through their DLCs now before heading into Control, and then Red Dead Redemption!
Depends on the mods, most mods pre-2015 were horribly made but through a much more active playerbase have enough endorsements from back then to show up as “top mods,” like Project Nevada. ENB is also buggy and pretty broken for New Vegas, it was never finished as well.
Try using Viva New Vegas, it even has a Wabbajack installer if you want an automated process and are willing to toss Nexus a few bucks to not have to keep clicking, or don’t and just follow it like normal.
As a certified NV head, there’s a lot Fallout 3 did better, like the economy, repair limitations, atmospheric audio cues Obsidian never really implemented, NPC conversations, and more. New Vegas is much better, but it could have been way better.
I can only actually play Outer Wilds once, replaying it isn’t even close to the same magical first experience.
Unbelievably scummy. As sad as I thought it was, I was understanding of wanting to step back due to increased responsibilities, a common issue for mod projects. But no, some sweaty gamers called fucking ICE on them? And then, moreover, broadcast what the lead dev clearly wanted to remain quiet? What terrible people to put that tip in, unforgivable.
Been meaning to get into that, but want to clear out my backlog of genuinely beatable games first. It looks so cool!
A shame the devs and discord especially are pretty anti-communist, the game looks cool otherwise. Love ImSims.
What a game! Love Hollow Knight, it’s such a fun world to get lost in. You’ll love Crosscode, it’s truly a gem of a game.
Somehow, Borderlands 3 was even more aged than BL2 when it came out. The gameplay keeps getting better, but the dialogue keeps getting worse, somehow.
