I used to stare at the sun when I was a kid. Now I have visual snow syndrome. Don’t know if it’s related, but sunlight for long periods of time definitely aggrevates it.

Honestly, I’m really trying to like Lemmy. I feel like none of the good communities came over here, just the one’s you mindlessly scroll through. I just looked for a fitness community yesterday and the one i found had like 5 posts. There is basically no communities for any of my hobbies. It seems like most people stayed on Reddit, except for the techy people. It’s a shame because I really want to support the idea of federation and I do like the website.
Getting my leg presses up to 8 plates per side shot up my running speed without any running at all. So I would say focus on leg strength and practice running a lot and keep trying to improve your form using videos or something.
I agree, I don’t feel right if I don’t use wipes now.
I think we don’t for now. I think we just have to accept we might have to change instances once in a while, especially while things settle.
I agree, they don’t deserve to be one of the popular instances. They gathered a large userbase and just isolated it. If they wanted to be some special safe space, they should’ve specified that in the beginning instead of overcomplicating everything the way they did. People keep saying it’s their choice, and it is, but in the same way it’s Reddit’s choice to kill off 3rd party apps.
If you go to the next page, it stops doing that. Also doesn’t do it on the Jerboa app.
Lol at least I made progress. I was taught to just use toilet paper when I was a kid. Now if I have to do that, I feel so dirty
I think I’m just over exaggerating how much water the bidet uses in my head. Don’t worry I’m not that dumb lol I was thinking of putting the paper towels in the trash can. Maybe they make toilet paper different in countries that use bidets? If I use american toilet paper to dry myself, I’d have shredded wet toilet paper all over me. They rip at even the sight of water.
Sounds like a shredded mess, wouldn’t paper towels be better?
I like to use toilet paper to get the bulk of it, then use wet wipes after.
I have a Oneplus Nord N100 that I got from Amazon for $150 about a year ago. It’s actually not bad. Only problem is the charging port is super loose. I’m pretty happy with it.
I agree with you. I was using my Honor 6X and while it was very outdated, I was pretty happy with it. One day it just bricked for no reason. I’ve also had bad experience with Motorola, despite all the praise I’ve read online.
It seems like a win but tech-literate is not equal to smart. Let’s say we want advice about cars. Now all the older mechanics who are very smart and technical with cars but not as much with computers won’t bring their expertise here. I really want Lemmy to take off. I think it is a good replacement for the scrolling and time-wasting that Reddit provides but I’m worried it will never be a useful resource the same way Reddit is. I think a lot would need to change for that to happen.
So we can interact with any software in the fediverse?
So is it not really like a Zelda game at all? I’ve never played it but I read recently that there are no dungeons.
Same reason I hated Dark Souls 2. I felt like I spent more time walking back to the boss battles after every attempt. For such a popular game you think they would at least learn to add checkpoints before bosses.
So does that mean that any thread in the fediverse can be shared together? Or is kbin another Lemmy instance? I thought we could only look at other Lemmy instances.
I feel like subreddit moderators dropped the ball here. They all could’ve made Lemmy communities and linked the subreddits there so everything could’ve just continued as normal but on Lemmy instead. I’m wondering why none of them did that. Do they actually think Reddit will revert the changes and go back to normal?
I only see the Altima thing on the internet. IME it’s just a generic shitty car like a Ford and seems to drive just like anyone else on the road. I feel like any car that costs a lot of money, including pick up trucks are the ones with assholes
