Went to an interview
The team for this job is whiter than snow
Sat and waited super patiently for the interview to begin (because of course they were late. Seems common).
Had the interview.
Told I will get a phone call with an answer tomorrow.
Less than 90 minutes later, I get an email saying they chose someone else.
Why do I feel like this is a case of them already having picked a candidate but still wasting time anyway?

btw, the manager for this job has “dick” in her surname so at least I got to chuckle at that. I’m mentally 12.
Jobseeking is genuinely one of the most degrading things. You’re lucky if you even get told that they decided not to hire you because most companies decide you’re too worthless to even deserve a followup message.
