Sure, if you’re trying to kill yourself with a mortar I can tell you how to do it. My point is however shitty it looks it’s probably a decent hammer so long as you don’t hit the wrong part as plastic type explosives and even older rdx derivatives are super duper stable.

You’d need to smack the tail and spin start it in most cases.
There’s no safety so well designed that a properly motivated idiot can’t bypass it.
