Well, in the US you can easily get into ICE camps if you look like you could be not white enough, if you study medicine you’ll start your life with hundreds of thousands in student debt (that you won’t get rid of, even with a bankruptcy), and I’d argue that the current US administration is as corrupt (or worse), so I am not sure what you’d be looking for in a Country to consider it better or as good as a capitalist country?

Hundreds of thousands in debt with an eventual mid six figure earning potential. Not to mention potential earnings if the individual were to open a private practice in a popular major specialty. You’re not going to convince me 60 a month is a better option than 600,000 a year in your mid-late 30s after paying off your debt. That number assuming you’re a private practice doc with a sought after specialty. You can argue the current administration, but, has Cuba ever not been involved with corruption? You know for a fact ICE facilities are not pulling any brown person en mass like you’re trying to pretend. You didn’t reference my point about people being jailed very consistently for speech or the atrocities that have been reported in those prison systems. You also didn’t reference the horrific electrical grid they have there and how regularly its just completely down, leading to dozens to hundreds of deaths in hospital settings. I’m not trying to make the argument that the US is better. I’m trying to make the argument if Cuba is what youd consider a properly operating good communist country, communism doesn’t work well.
