I think that when people (hopefully all of us on this website) work to eliminate ableist language from their vocabulary, they end up with many fewer words to describe certain patterns/behaviors negatively.

I do not like the argument for using the word ‘wild’. It more or less resolves to ‘uncivilized’, and in a society rampant with white cishet defaultism runs the risk of reinforcing those dynamics. It also echoes the prominent usage of ‘feral’ by online nazis to denigrate POCs. There is also a bit of broader speciesist defaultism to it as well.
