Tell me American, is it true that in capitalist America hordes of wild pigs can appear from nowhere and kill children?

My stepdad shot one in the face with a 9mm pistol from about 6ft away.

The bullet went under the skin on its forehead, traveled around the top of its skull, and out the skin on the back of its head. All it did was stun the hog long enough for him to grab his 30-06 from the Mule

      Ty4the info.

The meme does specify 3-5 min.

5 min 50 hogs would be 6sec/hog. Given you’ve a decent tactical knowhow on an AR, I’d argue it’s doable, if they had to come down some sort of narrow field of fire, like through a gate and if possible, having like a concrete structure leading up to the gate so they have to bottle up.

In that case and with luck on your side, maybe 6s would be enough to disable a hog if you’re not on the same level as them and just raining down on them.

Even a fast fingered guy with a boltlock would have trouble with 6s/hog.

But the swines are goddamn terminators, I’ll grant that. The only animal I’d really be somewhat afraid of meeting outside. They crazy and have been known to kill adult men.

I wouldn’t be nearly as afraid of meeting a lone wolf on a field as a lone hog. Especially when I’d have trouble seeing where it is and it could just smash my legs and no trees to climb in the middle of a field.

I feel like you haven’t seen a wolf up close. A wild wolf, full grown, will tear you apart and make a xylophone from your bones. Wolves are pack hunters only because their dealing with uptiered prey that is often much larger than them, and for territorial reasons.

I have. I’ve also driven home people like you. “Are you afraid of dogs” he says. I say I don’t fear any dogs. He laughs, cockily. He’s thinking I haven’t seen mastiffs. I have. I’ve also trained with some. (I wouldn’t say I have trained a mastiff, because I have given one their complete training, but I’ve done training with them, even attack dogs.)

Exactly. Wolves are pack hunters. You don’t really need to fear a lone one. And even if it is aggressive, as long as you stand your ground, it’s not that likely that it would attack. Basic canine behaviour. They’re coursing predators. If you turn your back and start running, even a lone wolf might get overwhelmed by their predatory instinct and attack you, and at that point, yeah, you’ll likely more or less done.

But if it’s a lone wolf, even if it’s hungry, and you stand your ground, open your jacket, have no fear and yell and growl, it’s more than likely it’ll just slink off.

uptiered prey that is often much larger than them, and for territorial reasons.

What on Earth are you saying? That if they weren’t forced to, dogs would be cats? Wolves are very sociable animals and often only survive in the harsh winters they are because of that.

I would be more afraid of a wolf pack obviously than a single hog, but we don’t really get wolf packs here. We only get the odd loner wolves who then due to lack of a pack sometimes end up attacking domesticated animals on the outskirts of town.

Anyways back to the guy who thought his dogs were really scary; it was a good long ride, like 90km, so a nice fare, and the I had a cigarette at his yard, because he wanted to see mt reaction to his dogs.

They’re weren’t actually the most sociable mastiff, pretty rude, the older bitch even snapping at me a bit. But again, I’ve been with animals since I was a kid and I know how to behave with them.

They came out and sniffed me out and did not want pets. That’s it. Not a huge story.

With a wolf we’d skip the sniffing upclose part probably. Although I wouldn’t avoid it if it was that close and seemed curious. (Is it stupid? Very much so. Do I know I would still do it? Yeah.)

Like the story shows, I’m also a taxidriver, and am much more afraid of picking up drunks than I would be meeting a lone wolf on a walk.

They’re completely different animals ofc, but a lot of people are afraid of horses due their sheer size. I wasn’t even 10 when I was riding and taking care of absolutely huge stallions. Their hooves were larger than my face, and I went into a small stall after riding them, a stall they could barely turn around in, and lifted their hooves to my lap and scratched them clean with pick and a brush. One time one bit me when I was tightening it’s belly buckle. (idk the correct term in English I haven’t ridden in years so dk proper English terminology). Like just a little “hey boy” bite, not a real “throwing that asshole across the room” bite. Which they could’ve done, as I was like at most a bit taller than the level or their genitals.

So yeah just because you might be scared doesn’t mean everyone is

Unfortunately full auto is basically illegal. It’s “not” if you have like $50k in two different licenses that give the ATF the power to do whatever they want to you, but predictably that means “full auto only for rich people who sell guns” in practice.

OR you can spend that same amount or more on a preban that is actually transferrable, but again paying more than 1yr of my salary for a transferrable AR with wallered out pin holes is kind of a rich man’s activity.

OR you could easily make one illegally in exchange for 10yr in federal prison if caught, which is by far the most common option taken in the form of glock switches and drop in auto sears.

The fact that the very specific numbers in that quote add up to 88, a Nazi dogwhistle, is probably not a coincidence.
