“Twitter is refusing to pay its Google Cloud bills” via Reuters
“Twitter isn’t letting users view the site without logging in” via CNN
“Twitter has put a temporary limit on the number of tweets that users can see each day” via Reuters
“Twitter is now effectively DDOSing itself based on how these changes were made” via Forbes
“Another potential explanation… is that Twitter is essentially DDOSing itself” via TechRadar
Original Mastodon post proposing and showing evidence for the DDOS theory
Took me a ~5 minute web search
Just a nice fan fic
Paying a bill from a few months ago is not the same as renewing an annual contract. These may both be true
I thought I read something last week about Twitter and Google kissing and making up. Am I misremembering the story? What’s going on?
What I found more amusing is that even if you pay for verification you still have a tweet limit. Imagine paying for a limited service of what was free 6 months ago.
So we just don’t do sources?
I mean, I’ve never been mad at their exclusion if it’s something easily located in a ten second web search.
I’ve seen this posted in several places as gospel, but where is any proof that supports this?
