Must’ve seen a photo like this and tried to improvise their own version:
Those sharp wires are way too close to the dog’s eyes.
It’s not sharp, there’s little plastic beads on the ends.

The beads help massage the eye balls the secret is you have to get directly in the center hole where the light enters the eyes.

The photo makes me nervous too, I was looking at those ends and thinking the same thing. The dog’s expression of pure braindead pleasure was too good to pass up though even if I wouldn’t re-create the situation.
