After leaving my first fiance, I vowed id never go back to this state.
Lol im back, and its just as I remembered it! Aside from all the obvious sociopolitical issues, last night’s venue had NO fucking idea how to run our show.
Staff had confusion over door and set time, and they had a major touring package playing out back. They asked us to “merge the shows” somehow cause rain was due, and the outdoor show got shut down. It would have been fine with us, but we had to say no because the locals we booked could not be playing late for whatever reasons. That lead to them just cutting the outdoor show, eventually, and having us start our gig on a whim.
Like, alright, this CANNOT BE A SPECIAL SITUATION! WHAT IS YOUR USUAL PROCEDURE? Don’t look to us to be the decision makers, this is your venue.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. This has been “corgis tour updstes: volume 3”

I just helped move a comrade out of Texas up north and wow, it’s just such a different world up there. The flight back to Austin was marked with a deep melancholy knowing how different the culture was on the other side of the country.
May everyone escape this hell hole.
Im a Chicago boy, but like not one of the ones that pioneered neoliberalism
What am I looking at here?
If your in Texas treat yourself to the greatest honky tonker out there.
