I take this chance to complain that you can not block YouTube channels.
i don’t do smartphones, but i have this site bookmarked for other things and found these instructions there for the yt app: android and iphone/ios
for computers, there are third-party addons to add functionality to youtube’s web site. some provide point-and-click blocking functionality.
third-party apps, as long as they’re still ‘allowed’, may also have the extra functionality you’re looking for.
Freetube you can filter out channels by title. It’s a bit manual, but you can do it.
