It is a pretty boring answer and you have not given an explanation. I would not downvote because of that but it has no costs so i bet some people just downvote what they do not like.

That could explain a number of encounters. You’d think a place like ours would know better, especially since they claim to.

That was gone over with great detail. There’s an enormous amount of misinformation there, between things that were taken out of context, things that were exaggerated, and things that had been long reconciled over. Even an admin has gone on record as condemning it as a witch hunt. Ultimately I was given a lowkey punishment to fit the PR, with anyone who was doing any further action against me after that going by a chain of hearsay.

Recently the person who they claim to be protecting with the whole transphobia bit made notes specifically towards the individual(s) who have been targeting me with things like their smear campaigning, which has become a functional or common modus operandi toward anyone who doesn’t fit their bill. Such has been brought up several times, only to fall on the ears of the selectively ignorant each time. If you did so much as acknowledge it, you would be the first to do so.

Disabling downvotes from the settings has been among the better choices when it comes to using Lemmy.

Also, don’t let the hextrimists tempt you. It’s a cult.
