I have one keyboard with its own display, an old G15. I went through all the work to set it up. Used it to track system stats for a week. Went back to my Unicomp and the ‘fancy’ G15 has sat in my junk pile since.

Keyboards to not need displays. They are for typing. You shouldn’t even look at your fingers, let alone a display.

imho, some really bad layout choices were made here.

small numzero, mutilated ‘six pack’ (above the arrows), FuNctioned-home & end, top row delete, no ins, no legacy (but still useful!) keys.

all to save two keys’ width. while a standard size and layout would have allowed for familiar and expected key locations, the extra knob, a calc button, and a wider spot in the top row for the lcd

Once you have a display, calculator mode isn’t hard. There’s no excuse for at least “transcribe the calculator’s registrr onto the host PC”.

I really dislike the green highlights in combination with more measured grey colours. It does seem they have multiple other colours variants, but tomshardware only has pictures of the green highlight variant.
