In also keeping with that distinction, Rock and Roll as a music genre has already died out decades ago. So there’s a limited time window of who even could qualify for their hall of fame, and thus their relevance dies out with the boomer generation.
Now if they want to rename themselves to the MUSIC hall of fame, I have no issue with all the artists that have been admitted that previously shouldn’t have been there.
