GBA Advance Wars… I missed it first time round, so I’m playing it through on my Miyoo Mini Plus. Absolutely perfect handheld game, ideal to grab for a quick half hour mission.
Disco Elysium. this game has consumed my life
Me too! First time playing it after hearing a lot of good things. The story and gameplay are interesting but what really hooked me is how the game can surprise me with wild and unexpected dialog choices. I love going for whatever feels like the goofiest possible decision just to see what happens next.
Just started Humanity on Saturday and I’ve been having a blast!! I also played and streamed It Takes Two for the first time with my wife yesterday and have been enjoying it.
Been playing FF16. Really been enjoying it! It’s really just a movie or TV series with sporadic combat. But I really enjoy storyline in games more than gameplay most times. I like that they added items to make the combat stupid easy for someone like me that has never been good at doing combo moves. I feel like it might be a bit too easy at times, but still fun. I swore to never buy another FF game after 13, but I’m glad they released a demo so I could see how fun the game would be.
I’ve also been playing FF16 recently and been loving it. I can’t really explain what makes it so good because in many ways it just isn’t a great game. But what it does well, it’s doing really well. It’s just so enjoyable to play.
I recently got Techtonica, or if you prefer “Underground Satisfactory”. One interesting difference is your research for new technologies creates a bulky waste product that you have to find room for…
Finished up Marvel Midnight Subs recently (few weeks ago). Solid game over all. Would recommend when it’s on sale.
Right now, Baldur’s Gate 3 (EA). I normally wouldn’t pick up an EA game, but I saw it had a set release date like a month ahead and really all I had was a (paid) demo. Figured with Steam, I have 2 hours to find out. I’ve played it daily 😆. I’ll be honestly surprised if this doesn’t get GotW. So long as it’s a solid launch and the story doesn’t drop in quality after Act 1, I really think it could win.
Currently playing: -Rocket League (after a controller Hiatus) -TFT -Dave the Diver
Started but lacking the will to boot up recently: -Diablo 4
Lately I’ve been liking less involved games as it allows me to watch videos while playing and talking to friends. Diablo 4 has been a bit of a point, as I love the old Diablo games and series but having trouble really getting into the live service version. It’s a solid game but just feels different overall. Took me extra time to beat the main story because I just kept putting it down. Dave the diver is worth the money. Great game so far and works in small plays.
Pillars of Eternity 2. I’m not all that far in, but I’ve been loving it so far. The characters and story feel really well crafted, and there’s just a ton of variability in how you can construct your party and progress. Hopefully the quality continues throughout since the first POE felt like it ended abruptly.
I have just started dark souls III and I’m loving it. I have played ds1 and elden ring and was waiting for a sale for dsIII and just picked it.
I have made a Deprived because I like the extra challenge in these games

I’ve started playing Elden Ring without really knowing what I was getting myself into… It’s been a experience to say the least. I don’t think I’ve ever struggled with a game so much xD
Stardew Valley Expanded. A simple life with a bit of magic.
I’d like a simple life with easy questions and obvious answers.
I’d also like socializing to be that easy.
Resi 4 remake, been pretty superb, looks amazing on ps5, plays great, makes me jump, just been a pleasure. I played TOTK + FF16 prior to this and it feels really good to play something more exciting and fast paced, TOTK was good but I didn’t finish it and FF16 was a drag but I forced myself to finish it, looking forward to dead space remake after this.
I complain about how remake heavy we are but also they just seem to be the most mechanically tight games available atm.
Currently putting a lot of time into Noita. It’s the first flat screen game that has really grabbed me since I moved over to almost exclusively VR gaming in 2016!
I recently got Noita, really fun little game. I wish I could stop setting half the level on fire, though.
