Why are some community’s appearing as empty in kbin while if you go to their instance they have posts ?

I’m curious about that too. It looks like not all post from Kbin are visible on Lemmy.
Lemmys version 0.18 had some issues with kbin. But they seem fixed by 0.18.1
That may be federation issues. It takes a while to sincronize instances. If its taking too long they may not be federating properly.
From what I noticed some of the communities that the posts don’t appear are nsfw and require you to sign up if you are going through their instance, but since is federated why while being logged in in kbin the posts are not visible?
