The latest Call of Duty video game includes a mission very similar to the real-life assassination of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, according to gamers with early access to the new installment of the franchise.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, set to be released on 28 October, involves a ‘missile strike mission’ targeting an Iranian military leader named ‘Ghorbrani’ within the first five minutes, footage shared on Twitter shows.

Soleimani was killed by a missile strike on Baghdad’s international airport ordered by former United States President Donald Trump in January 2020, along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi Iraqi militia grouping.

This article is from like 2 years ago. Why is it being posted?

This is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. You’re thinking of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare II. Please don’t make such mistakes, it’s literally so obvious. /s

An American security contractor and a Chinese embassy employee are at a bar. The American says, “I gotta say, your propaganda is impressive. You sure know how to keep your people in line.”

“Oh, you’re too gracious,” the embassy worker says. “And besides, it’s nothing compared to American propaganda.”

The contractor chokes on his drink and gives his friend a bewildered look.

“What are you talking about? There’s no propaganda in America.”

My favorite part of Transformers was when my government had the script changed to include Marines being heroic in a movie about giant alien robots. We really needed good PR after that whole Afghanistan and Iraq thing.
