I much prefer this architecture as opposed to the cheapest walls possible in most modern US buildings.

While I don’t generally recommend it, NVDIA has streaming options for games on Windows. You can even run this from a browser if you wanted, all within Linux. I would be surprised if you couldn’t use this for Photoshop or an alternative existed.

It’s just important to keep in mind this isn’t your computer, its a subscription to someone else’s computer. I just thought I’d mention this because it’s not commonly suggested and it’s nice to know avaliable options.

You can also just get a separate computer with MacOS for Photoshop and ditch the kernal games or maybe play them on Mac if they’re low end, and use Linux for everything else.

Maybe rootkits will be gone soon. 2026 is the year of the Linux desktop.

I watched the video and still don’t understand why she wants / wanted to get rid of yarling. She makes points but it’s just a different sound overall rather than a “worse” sound IMO. It makes the bands she references feel iconic and unique.

Maybe some of them could’ve been genuinely really interested and had good intentions. Did you ever try to help them learn the correct pronunciation? It can be very hard for native English speakers. I definitely could see how this could’ve been insensitive. There are many poor stereotypes unfortunately as well with growing up as an Asian-American, even from teachers as “jokes.”
