Diaspora* is an alternative to Facebook, and Lemmy is an alternative to Reddit. So Lemmy has themed communities, and Diaspora* is more of a traditional social network similar to Facebook but more private.

At night, I don’t know why, but I always think about what my own phone, made by me, would be like… I also walk around the house aimlessly thinking about things that will never happen.

4·6 days agoLemmy offers more freedom, more privacy, and your data is not sold. Unlike other social networks, Lemmy is part of the fediverse, so you have to choose a server that suits your tastes and preferences. Reddit has subreddits, and Lemmy has communities. Reddit does not respect privacy, but Lemmy does.

Yes, plus Baidu is like China’s “Google,” so if you’re from China, it will probably spy on you just like regular Google. Plus, Terabox collects some suspicious data.

The apps from Fossify, Aves gallery (it’s even better and prettier than your phone’s gallery app), Session, Tubular, Baby name, Wallabag, Smart Dock and Floating Stickies.
