I think that when people (hopefully all of us on this website) work to eliminate ableist language from their vocabulary, they end up with many fewer words to describe certain patterns/behaviors negatively.

don’t attribute to stupidity what can be equally explained by malice.
politicians/journalists don’t get benefit of the doubt, they are evil people pursuing evil aims of their empire.
but i use unwise/distracting/inconsiderate in case i can’t imagine other explanation
