Wow, they also significantly increased the time it takes to apply the 15 minute buff of Jade Tech Offensive/Defensive Protocol. Roughly from 0.5 to 2 seconds.
But the forced delay after applying the first stack is still there. And you are still losing buffs and battery charges when visting a Guild Hall or your Home Instance and all buffs but not the battery charges when visting ths Mistlock Sanctuary lobby.
So, not a bug fix, but just a plain nerf out of nowhere. That’s not in the patch notes, or is it?
Addition: It has also been posted multiple times on the foums and was now merged:

- Mist Swing: Reduced the maximum number of targets from 5 to 3.
- Mist Slash: Reduced the maximum number of targets from 5 to 3.
- Arcing Mists: Reduced the maximum number of targets from 5 to 3.
Apparently Revenant GS needed another nerf … for Halloween (Labyrinth)? A once powerful weapon has turned into a wet noodle and finally got the target cap reduced, too. Well, it was fun while it lasted, but we are not supposed to have fun in the game, right?
Too bad, I loved the GS Rev. It became my second main ( after thief :). I switched to sword+sword last patch so it’s not that bad, but I miss the GS aesthetics.
PS: Shortbow thief works great in the lab.
I probably go Reaper like I used to before EoD. But I still have fond memories from last year, where I was going ham in the labyrinth on my GS-Vindicator. Good times!
PS: Shortbow thief works great in the lab.
Unstoppable Flamethrower/Juggernaut (with a Sigil and Relic of Speed) works, too.
Before secrets was released I was curious how weapon mastery may give power alacrigade another melee option over sword, but the nerfs to gs dont look too hot.
Well, they found GS to be too strong on non-Vindicator, nerfed it to the ground and buffed some Vindicator traits instead, e. g. damage increase after dodge. I’m getting tired of this messing around for the sake of “balance”.
Was non vindicator GS even remotely meta? Power renegade fell out of favor and i think Quickness Herald used S/S

- The Mysterious Craftsraven’s item costs have been changed from Walnuts in Bulk to Peaches in Bulk
Haha, Walnuts in a Bulk do not even exist in the game (since 2012).
Bug Fix:
- Fixed an issue that would have caused the current Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure Wizard’s Vault season to end earlier than intended.
… and ArcDPS has already been updated.
Squads someone joined that you have blocked still don’t get shown to you in LFG.
Uhh, I didn’t know that. Thanks for mentioning it!! I used the Blish Black-List, I’m probably missing some squads in the LFG - lel.
World vs. World
- Fixed an issue that could cause incorrect map queue numbers to be displayed.
I wonder whether this also fixes the two-based array issue in PvE, i. e. when your position is n+1 in a queue of length n.
- Fixed a bug that could prevent Magister Tassi from offering players her Stopped Clock Tower miniquest if they had previously completed a Daily Fractal during Halloween. To ensure stuck players can talk to Tassi, miniquest progress will be reset for all players, but achievement progress will be preserved.
- Fixed a client crash in the Ascent to Madness dungeon when shader quality was set to Low.
Bug Fix:
- Consumable Halloween foods will no longer transform players during combat.
Looks like they’ve put in additional changes which are not mentioned in the patch notes and those finally broke ArcDPS (while the Halloween patch did not).
From Elite Insights (Discord):
From changes (https://www.deltaconnected.com/arcdps/):
- oct.23.2023: updated d3d11 and dxgi export list.
- oct.19.2023: updated for oct19 game build, probably not entirely.
