Edited: Added theme to title, thanks for the nudge @thegiddystitcher@lemm.ee :)
I made this as a birthday present for a friend. It is my first succesful project using circular needles. I used 5mm needles, with 40cms cable for the body of the beanie, then switched to a 120cm cable and used the magic loop technique for the decreases.
It is mt first time trying this “bubble” stitch and I was so nervous doing the K4B and ‘undoing’ stitches lol.
Yarn is worsted weight Dreams in color 0002 from local store Revés Derecho

Beautiful color choice! The bubbles look really neat, good work.
What a crisp bubble definition! It looks amazing, wonderful job! Is the picture taken after washing/blocking the project?
Thank you! Yes, I took the pic after blocking :)
That’s such a pretty project and such a good picture of it! You definitely found a good background to take the picture against, it fits the pastel coloration of the yarn. I feel this is super above my skill level but I feel tempted to try it…
You should give it a try! Bubble stitch is pretty fun once you get the hang of it. You could just make a practice square for a little pillow. https://www.studioknitsf.com/bubble-stitch/
This website has actual photo and written instructions and not just videos. That’s amazing, that’s so helpful, thank you so much!
I also love your colour choices! It looks like your stitches are twisted, did you know?
I did not :o I’m kind of a recent knitter, thank you for letting me know!
I did this as a beginner too, spent weeks knitting everything through the back loop by accident. Twisted stitch gang!
This is absolutely stunning! You have a way of making hats look very aspirational in your photos! 😅
(Just saying, but this would be a perfect entry for the current theme, hint hint cough cough cough)
Aww thank you! A couple Photography courses while studying Graphic Design help lol
@kurobita That’s adorable!!
Beautiful work! The color is gorgeous.
