You can see the account mass follows other accounts (201k following?). I created a script that auto-blocks and removes these accounts. It removed over 50(!) accounts from my profile. A good 10%-20% of all the people that follow me are bots!
My question is why? Why follow an impossible number of people? What does that accomplish?
Maybe the Instagram/X tactic?
“Huh, someone followed me, let’s check who it is… maybe they are interesting” but you see and its a bot with a spammy link in bio
